Cookie Policy
Which entries this website keeps in your browser and how you can change your decision.

starvixel operates starvixel.com. This page sets out which entries the site places on your device, why they are used, what happens when a cookie notice is accepted or rejected, and how an answer can be withdrawn.
About cookies and browser storage
A cookie is a short piece of text that a site leaves in your browser to remember a setting or a choice. Browsers have a comparable local storage area for small entries that stay until they are deleted, and this policy treats both in the same way.
Categories used on this website
starvixel.com is an information site: there is no customer account and no checkout, so only a few entries are needed. The strictly necessary category covers what the pages and the server require to work safely, including any entry that records an answer to a cookie notice, and it does not depend on consent.
One of these entries is a cookie set by the server that delivers the pages. It holds a random identifier, no name or contact details, and lets the server recognise a browser that comes back, so that one visit is handled as one and automated misuse can be turned away. It is renewed with each visit and expires 30 days after the last one.
Advertising, tracking and personal data
This website uses no advertising cookies, no marketing pixels and no trackers that follow you to other sites, and nothing about your visit is sold or passed on for advertising. Where an entry can be linked to a person, our privacy policy explains the grounds, the storage periods and your rights.
How your choice is recorded
If a notice is displayed and browser storage is available, it saves nothing but your choice, consent or refusal, in the local storage of the current browser (localStorage) and then stays hidden. On a different browser or device it appears once more, because the value was never stored there, and it returns where storage is blocked.
How long entries are stored
Session entries disappear when the browser window is closed, while others are given a set lifetime so that a preference survives until you come back. The answer saved by the cookie notice does not expire and remains until you or your browser remove it.
Withdrawing your consent and deleting cookies
Consent given earlier can be withdrawn at any time, as easily as it was given: clear the data this website has stored in your browser and open a page again, so the saved answer is gone and, where a notice is shown, you can decide once more. Independently of that, every common browser offers settings for cookies and site data, where stored entries can be inspected or deleted.
Cookies set by other providers
We do not embed services from other providers that would set cookies of their own. If a map, a video or a similar element were added later, its provider could store entries on your device once it loads, and this policy would be updated before such content is published.
Updates to this policy and questions
We review this policy when the website changes, when new functions are added or when the rules develop; only the version on this page applies, and the date at the top shows its last revision. Questions can be sent to starvixel at hello@starvixel.com or asked by telephone on (402) 734-1110.
