Accessibility Statement

What we do so that this website works for everyone, and how to tell us about a problem.

Last updated: October 16, 2026

starvixel wants starvixel.com to be usable by as many people as possible, including visitors who rely on assistive technology. This statement describes the measures taken, the limitations we are aware of and how to reach us.

Our approach

We treat accessibility as part of building and maintaining this website, not as a separate task. Whenever a page is added or the design changes, we check that the content can still be read with a screen reader, used with a keyboard and enlarged in the browser. This statement covers the pages published under starvixel.com.

What we do

The site is built from semantic HTML with a logical heading structure, one main heading per page and descriptive link texts. The main content and the navigation are marked as separate regions, and every page declares its language for screen readers. Informative images have text alternatives, decorative ones are marked as such.

Text and background colours are combined to reach a contrast ratio of at least 4.5 to 1 for body copy, links and buttons. Because sizes are given in relative units, zooming or increasing the browser font size does not disturb the layout. The website can be operated with a keyboard alone.

Conformance

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA. The site is currently partially conformant: most content meets the guidelines, while the points listed below do not yet. Where a requirement cannot be met right away, we provide the information in another way.

Known limitations

A number of illustrations are generic, and their alternative text names the subject instead of describing it in detail.

Reporting a barrier

Please report any accessibility problem by email to hello@starvixel.com or by telephone on (402) 734-1110. A short note on the page, the difficulty and the device or assistive technology involved helps us reproduce the fault; we usually reply within five working days and explain what we will do about it.

Preparation of this statement

This statement was prepared on October 16, 2026 on the basis of our own review. We checked the main page types with a keyboard, with increased zoom and with a screen reader; no external audit was commissioned. The statement is reviewed once a year and after any major change to the website.
